UNORTHODOX!
Jim Francisco of Sacramento is a sales rep for insulation provider NCFI Polyurethanes, a company that employs the services of independent contractors. But none of them had ever met each other. So on September 21, Jim invited 25 of these important professionals for dinner at the Fior d’Italia.
“I wanted them to get together to speak to each other face-to-face in an informal setting and to thank them for their contributions and their work,” he said.
“The waiter, Michael, gave us a history lesson about the restaurant. Our only complaint was that the tiramisu’ was unorthodox. We were all waiting to sink our teeth into the traditional tiramisu’,” he grumbled.
Sorry, Jim. The menu clearly states that the tiramisu’ we proudly serve is a mousse. While we pride ourselves in serving traditional Italian recipes, on this one we cut ourselves some slack. Just to be a little creative, you know?
