Having managed the Dodgers for 20 years, I have had the chance to travel these great United States extensively. I have been enriched because I have met many great people, and have been fortunate to have eaten in the greatest restaurants in the country. Many Americans travel, and frequently have trouble getting comfortable because they don’t know where to go to eat. So I would like to recommend the following restaurants that I have enjoyed over the course of my travels.
San Francisco:
Fior d’Italia - The best Italian food in the entire city. They’ve been cooking pasta since 1886!
On his blog, Tommy lists several restaurants in most cities but only one in the city of San Francisco, known worldwide for spectacular cuisine.
Over the years Tommy has been a wonderful friend and customer. He and his associates have had many meals and functions at the Fior d’ Italia. The Fior exclusively, in Northern California, carries his new line of Lasorda signature wines . We even carry his book, “I Live for This — Baseball’s Last True Believer”, should our customers want a copy.
We are proud to be Tommy’s favorite restaurant in San Francisco and hope to see him sometime during the 2007 holidays when he is here in San Francisco promoting his book.
