The Pillsbury Dough Boy Dines with Us
Internationally known food manufacturer, General Mills ($12.4 billion in sales) drew 120 regional salespeople to the restaurant on June 26. These professionals are organized from their Scottsdale, Arizona center.
“It’s an annual event but this year we honored our 40-year retiree Larry Beene,” explained business planning manager Justin Sergi, from Scottsdale.

Sergi came in advance in May to scout out locations for the yearly confab. “I was blown away by the level of service and the (Fior’s) staff’s willingness to make things work out for us,” he said.
Customer account manager Larry Beene was fĂȘted in the Godfather Room along with General Mills sales VIPs. Colleagues got up to roast him during the night “all with good humor”, Sergi assured.
There was a surprise too. General Mills flew in Mrs. Beene from the Beene residence in Tyler, Texas to appear unannounced at the festivities. Much better than a Rolex.
