Now a new innovation in the free-market brings trading to restaurant table reservations. Table Pronto, www.tablepronto.com, allows anybody to buy and sell restaurant reservations online.
Some critics see this as an opportunity for scalpers to take advantage of diners.
But we say, why not a Table Pronto and many competitors as well? After all there are times when it seems appropriate to pay scalpers for theater tickets if it’s the only way you’re going to get into a certain show on a certain date, it can be worth it. Especially, with the holidays upon us, booking festivities can get dicey.
