Duck! It’s the Blue Angels!
Actually they don’t fly that low but they are coming again for Fleet Week 2007 — always a great time in San Francisco. We get to celebrate Columbus Day with a parade and say thank you to some of our military as they visit our city. As we have for years the Fior d’Italia will host (we buy them their meal) hundreds of sailors and marines as a way to say thank you for their service. We, as a country, owe a lot to our military and sometimes we don’t thank them enough. You should hear some of the very moving and wonderful comments we get from these patriots as they dine here at the Fior. Contrary to what is sometimes reported, our military is made up of some of our best and brightest. God Bless them all.
